Santa’s Grotto – FAQs
What dates are available?
Our first tickets have been released for Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th December. We will be releasing further dates in due course.
Where is the Grotto?
It is located in our Festive Courtyard at the side of the Farm Shop. Come into the Farm Shop as usual through the front doors and then head to the side doors.
How many children can I bring?
Santa can safely see up to 4 children in one appointment.
How much does it cost?
If you would like your child to receive a personalised Christmas Eve Box, the cost per child is £14.95.
If you don’t want your child to receive the personalised Christmas Eve Box (maybe they are very little) tickets are £2.00 (babies under 1 are free and don’t need a ticket).
We do not charge parents/guardians.
Can I change my ticket time?
If you need to change your time, please email and we’ll do our best to accommodate you within the dates we have available.
Will I get a physical ticket?
When you book your tickets, you’ll get an email confirmation of your order. You can print this off or bring the email on your phone and show it to the Elf when you arrive to see Santa.
What is in the Personalised Christmas Eve Box?
We know how expensive some Christmas experiences are. Ours will be lovely and we’ve priced it honestly! It will be very traditional and we’ve put a lot of thought into the Christmas Eve Box. Each one will be personalised with the child’s name and will contain a great quality game plus a selection of fabulous Christmas Treats. We haven’t skimped on our Gift Boxes and we don’t think you’ll be disappointed! The boxes will contain chocolate!!!!
Can I get a refund on my tickets?
If you wish to cancel your tickets, we can refund you as long as you cancel at least 24hrs or more before your booked slot. Cancellations with less than 24hrs notice will not be refunded. No Shows will not be refunded. Booking fees are non refundable in any event. If we have to cancel your tickets due to Covid Restrictions, we will refund the costs of your tickets. If you have to cancel with less than 24hrs notice (and therefore not eligible for a refund) and you have booked a Christmas Eve Box for your child, the box will have been made for you and you will be able to collect it from the Farm Shop any time during opening hours before 12pm on 24th December 2021.
What if there is another lockdown?
We were allowed to operated throughout all of the lockdowns with safety measures in place. If the worst happens, we will follow Government advice and we will keep you updated with our plans. If we have to cancel your tickets, we will refund you (less the cost of the booking fee).
Will the Grotto be Covid Safe?
Please don’t come to the Grotto (or the Farm Shop) if you have tested positive for Covid or if you have symptoms which could be Covid. We will have hand sanitiser available and if adults want to wear a face covering, that would be grand! The Grotto is spacious and well ventilated.
How will the snow work?
We have our own snow machine which we will run after every visit to Santa. The children will be able to enjoy the snow as it falls! The only time we won’t be able to run the snow machine is in the event of very heavy rain.
What time should I arrive?
Please make sure you arrive in good time. Aim to be in the Courtyard at least 5 minutes before your slot time. Don’t be late!!!
Can I take photos?
Absolutely – bring your camera/phone! We won’t be charging for photographs either! Tag us into your photos if you share them on Facebook or Insta – we’d love to see them!
